I am sorry that you have a huge lump of pus in the throat. But I suggest you to consult an ENT surgeon before starting on antibiotics ( on your own) . in fact there are many cephalosporins which can be used Instead of amoxicillin, but I would suggest you to consult a doctor before starting your own medications. Huge lump with pus in the throat is not a simple thing. Get it checked.
