Throat infection

Asked for Male, 45 Years

I have throat infection and very hoarse voice on and off. After taking antibiotics for 5 days It subsided but it came back after 3 days. Then I had 1000mg augmenting twice a day for 5 days. On review although pain went the reddishness was there. Now again week after this antibiotic there is light pain in the throat.

Take a full course of 7 days of a better antibiotic like Cefpodoxime...if the pain & hoarse voice still persists then see an ENT specialist, you might need an endoscopy assessment.
