The worst case of scabies ever?

Asked for Female, 32 Years

A family member is dealing with a severe case of what's believed to be scabies. She claims an absurd amount of bugs are infesting her and is struggling to understand and to deal with her situation. I guess if anything I'm asking if Wikipedia is an accurate source in sense of only 10-15 bugs in most cases and what the number would be for a bad case.
