The sabacious cyst is not going away
My twin sister got a cyst in her right breast for 5 years almost its smaller than a bead .. the doctor said it a sebacious cyst. still its there, when she squeeze it then it swells & slightly painful otherwise it remains flattened with skin. Can this turn into cancer? Is there any chance of it going away on its own? Can it grow larger?

Usually sebaceous cyst do not convert to cancer.
If its size increases or become symptomatic then get it excised.

Sebacious cyst will not change into cancer. If it is increasing in size, painful then need surgical excision. Most of the times, sebacious cyst will be same in size only. Nothing to worry
