Tfcc injury
Hello, I had a small accident 4 months ago(bike slipped and my left hand wrist was strained with bike weight) there was no swelling but persistent pain was seen  in the Radioulnar joint region of left hand( attaching x ray).I have been using tablets (TENDOCARE , ALOCATE) for more than 4 months now. Pain is 20-30% recovered but at that joint I feel there is pain when I do any kind of works or try to rotate wrist. doctor said it's TFCC ligament tear or strain. doctor suggested that it might take  8-12 months and if pain isn't come down then suggested to go for mri then surgery. and kindly suggest me is it ok to use tablets for these many months? is this curable with tablets and how long does it takes for recovery? is surgery safe? and what is the usual recovery time for this? should we take mri?

Hello, if the Pain is persistent you should get an MRI done to confirm the diagnosis and the severity of the injury and seek appropriate treatment for the same.
Next Steps
Get MRI of the wrist and consult general orthopedic or wrist specialist.
