For a small clean cut, a tetanus booster is only needed if the last TT was more than 5 years ago depending on the wound type 😊

For a clean, minor, superficial cut: Your childhood or previous routine vaccines protect you for a full 10 years. Since your 2019 shot was 7 years ago, your active immunity shield is still perfectly valid, and you do not need another injection today.
For a deep, dirty, or contaminated cut (soil, rust, or manure): The safety window drops down to 5 years. Because 7 years have passed since 2019, if your cut is deep or dirty, you would need a quick, single booster shot today for absolute safety—unless we can confirm that your 2023 prescription already included a tetanus dose (which would put you well within the 3-year safe zone)."
