Tetanus shot

Asked for Male, 40 Years

Yesterday I took 2nd dose of TT 0.5ml. 1st dose was taken 6 weeks ago. But after injection I found some 0.1ml is still in syringe . So please advise should this dose will work as a vaccine??

I'm not sure why second dose of tetanus is taken? In adults upto 65 years, one shot of tetanus toxoid vaccine is recommended once every 10 years unless there is an indication. Hence 0.5 ml would be sufficient
