Tetanus series in adults

I am not sure about my primary dose of tetanus vaccinations. How can i complete the primary dose of tetanus and when it is needed to take the booster doses after the primary vaccines. Please explain in detail.

Vaccine dose and schedule depends upon age. At Your age (17year ) You should have 1 dose of Tdap (Tetanus Diphtheria Pertusis ) or Td (Tetanus Diphtheria) vaccine and then repeat one Td vaccine after 10 year (as a booster) Meanwhile if you got some injury so you can have pure tetanus keeping the gap of 3 to 5 year)
