Hey,
Ill break this problem down and give you possible reasons for the problem your kid is facing.
1. Developmental problem: It can be as a result of developmental problem ( Dysgraphia, or any other condition , probably)
2. Problem with their basis: Maybe the kid is not able to grasp and has issues with the basics of learnings. Here we can focus on helping the kid to learn the basics well.
3. Other causes: Lack of motivation to write, some innate troubles emotional trouble ( fear, we need to understand what this fear is), muscular pain or physical pain in hand which he cant detect, etc etc)
In all the 3 cases, early interventions are must. You can get in touch with me, with the help of some assessments and techniques we can reach to the root cause is of the issue and deal with it at a young age.
Health Tips
NOTE: Immediate care and interventions are needed if:
1. The kid has been facing this issue for more than 2 months now.
2. It’s affecting your kids day to day functioning.
3. If you have tried varying ways but reached no conclusion.
Hello.. I understand your concern for your child. May be he is suffering from some learning disabilities. You need to consult a special educator in that case as soon as you can.
Hi... Few Questions:
1. Was he forced/harassed to read/write in school or at home by someone?
2. Did he earlier use to respond normally to studies and now has suddenly started behaving in this manner?
3. Are there any other abnormalities in his day life functioning?
4. Does anyone in his immediate family (role models) has such shouting response or anger outburst at times?
The professional (psychologist/special educator) will require answer to these questions before making an evaluation of his condition. There are various factors that can cause this kind of a reaction in a 5 year old boy.
He may be suffering from general anxiety, stress, or may be some learning difficulty/disorder.
Next Steps
Seek professional help.
Consult a Psychologist or a Special Educator
