My Mil went a minor surgery of her right hand thumb for tendonitis at two joints. After removing stitches, her wound was open for 20 days, and was advised by surgeon to use a baind aid for heeling. later, when things went out of hand, and her stitches were still bleeding, doctor resutured her wound, and it healed. now after 2 months of the incident, she still complaints of pain in both her joints of thumb. the joint in her thumb has gone hard again and the joint between palm and thumb looks bluish and the area with sutures is swollen. she visited her surgeon recently and he told her that he actually handled one of her joints with "needles". he says that she is stressing a lot on her joints and will perform the surgery again. what shall we do? she has been suffering from last 3 months. she did all that was asked of her but she is in pain. what should we do?
