I don't understand why we Indians take too lightly about self health , it's your knee , only you need to take care of it to run longer in your life , if you want to run more get operated soon . It think this philosophy will help you . More it the problem more is the need of surgery , I have operated even 15 yr old broken ACL . ACL injury need to be fixed for good sports activity .

The decision to undergo ACL reconstruction or not depends on the complaints of instability which can increase the risk of further injury to cartilage leading to arthritis.however not every patient requires ACL reconstruction..so the suggestion would be to visit an orthopaedician specialising in sports injuries and discuss the treatment options
Next Steps
visit an arthroscopy or sports surgeon
