Tear  of  femoral
Hello Dr, Recently I met an bike accident and my right knee got injured. MRI scan report says "Near  full  thickness  tear  of  femoral  attachment  of  ACL  noted.   Only  few  fibres  are  intact". in this condition do I need to go for a surgery or there is chance of auto recovery ? Kindly advise. Thanks in advance.

You can try conservative measures, exercises for 4 weeks. In case you have instability post that then you can opt for surgery.

ACL tear usually doesn't heal as it is inside the joint bathed by the joint fluid which gets between the tear. Not everyone get instability and pain after ACL tear. You can still manage to walk normally and do your routine with proper knee rehabilitation and physio.
