Tarsal coalition can be various types, if symptomatic i.e. pain or deformity then its better to get operated. Coalition prevents movements between small joints of foot and causes secondary problems.
If u live in new york its difficult to guide regarding orthotics n podiatrist. Pls consult a foot surgeon or a podiatrist where u stay
