Escitalopram takes about 2-3 weeks at the minimum to start showing impact. In case you're planning to conceive, please discuss with your psychiatrist as well as with your gynecologist. We'll have to compare the risk vs the benefit of continuing the medication and choose the best way forward.
Next Steps
wait and watch for 2 weeks and consult a psychiatrist for follow up

Escitalopram takes 2 weeks for its action , if planning pregnancy kindly inform your psychiatrist they will taper and stop medication , and yes ideallly no medication should be there while pregnant ssri have increased risk of preterm birth , increased risk of bleeding and also limb defects but it is dose dependent hence talk to your psychiatrist before Pregnancy
