My ferritin level is 280ng/dL(13-150 is the normal range), total iron-71,Hb-9.3,my doc has prescribed tab lupiheme twice a day...will the iron tablet lupiheme cause any adverse effects on the already elevated ferritin level??Plz answer

I think you dont need lupiheme, you already have enough iron in your body. Did you have biopsy of the intestine are you diagnosed with crohns disease?
