Swelling only in left ankle
Hello Doctors - My Mother is 54 years old. From past few days her left ankle gets swollen when she walks or does some basic physical activity like climbing stairs etc. she had a whole body check up 6 months back and everything was normal. She even got the Basic blood tests like CBC, Renal Function, Liver Function, Sugar tests 2 months back. Her Sugar and Uric acid are in border line. Is it because if her Uric acid or is it because of something else. Please find attached the reports. Her Uric Acid level is 5.80. Thank you.

Is it painful swelling? Does swelling decreases after sleep in morning? Is there any history of injury or sprain? Diabetes seem not to b the cause of this swelling. And Uric acid level is in normal range.
