I fell on a slippery surface and one side of my trap swelled and it is paining tell me what to do next

Cold compress. Tab Signoflam twice a day for three days for the pain. Consult an orthopedician if the pain or swelling is persistent or worsening.

Swelling indicates fracture may be present.so get X-RAY done. Meanwhile you can take zerodol sp for pain and swelling.

Do cold compressions on the first day. Take some analgesics for two days.  If pain and swelling doesn't decrease even on third day kindly go for a physical Examination by a doctor.
