Hi, my wife age 27 yrs is having swelling in her right hand and specially in palm she can't hold a cup of tea, i don't know to which dr have to consult orthopaedic or any specific department is there

You must visit an orthopaedician. The reason of pain could be carpal tunnel syndrome and if the pain is more near the thumb it can be dequirvain tenosynovitis.
