My granny is 77 year old and fell down on bed. She developed swelling in her left hand and we got the X-rays done at home. Can you please help us what can be done next? How to get temporary relief until we find a doctor tomorrow morning?

Hey, she has a fracture of the one of the bones of the wrist. She needs to be given a splintage for support. You can roll a newspaper to form a splint n tie it loosely with a cloth piece, from hand till elbow. Give her some analgesics for pain relief n elevate the wrist by keeping it on 2 pillows besides her. In the morning take her to an orthopaedic surgeon.
Next Steps
Give her Paracetamol for pain relief.
Health Tips
Do not tie tightly anything over the wrist, remove bangle or any other thread on the forearm as is visible in the photo…if cannot be removed must be cut or broken.
