You are having pain and Dr is saying there is swelling in the gallbladder it means I understand that sonography of the abdomen has been done to look for the cause of your pain. Usually the stones in the gallbladder give rise to the pain and swelling. The swelling of gallbladder is indicative of infection in and around the gallbladder.
Next Steps
Consult a local gastroenterologist or laparoscopic gallbladder surgeon for proper assessment of your pain and underlying cause of the pain. Ashok Khatri D may ask for blood test that you should go for them.
