  4. Swelling in ear. The pain temporary?

Swelling in ear
My husband got swelling in his ear.. he consult ENT specialist. he gave him ear drop and medicine but still the situation is same, the pain is unbearable for him he can't sleep properly. I wanted to ask if I massage his ear's nearby portion with hot water bag, is it reduce the pain temporary? And please suggest some medicine

If you have consulted an ENT specialist I would suggest you to wait for some time and let the medicines act.can take analgesic sos.you can apply dry heat around the ear.
