I can’t see the picture you mentioned ⸻ Possible causes • Small lipoma (fatty lump) – usually painless, soft, mobile. • Epidermal cyst – can be tender if inflamed. • Localized skin infection (abscess, boil). 2. Hernia (e.g., epigastric or umbilical hernia) • Can appear as a soft bulge in the upper abdomen, more obvious when standing, coughing, or straining. What you should do • Check if it changes with position: Does it bulge more when you stand or cough? That suggests hernia. • Note skin changes: redness, warmth → possible infection. • Monitor size: Is it growing? Getting more painful? • Apply warm compress if mild and skin is normal. • Avoid pressing or massaging repeatedly.
Next Steps
You should consult a general surgeon near by

If it is permanent swelling and subcutaneous (below the skin) it could be lipoma (accumulation of fat), if it is lipoma then no need to worry , you should consult to surgeon and go for an usg. In case of lipoma multiple swellings on other part of body is also common. In usg if it suggest lipoma or any other entity then fnac would be a better option for confirmation of diagnosis.
Next Steps
usg and fnac are two procedures which will help you
