Swelling and pain in legs
Current Problem: Swelling and fluid buildup in lower legs and pain( pins and needles sensation) in knee joints. When pressed in lower leg muscles, it's gentle and forming depressions easily. Diagnosed : Sugar past lunch 110 post lunch 150, Hemoglobin 12 , Serum Creatine Normal. Patient condition prior to problem: Weight gained during 1st pregnancy (2008) is from 55-75. After 2nd pregnancy (2011) from 75 to 83. Last two month 83 to 85. Never lost any weight from 1st pregnancy. Mensurating cycle ( 45 days ). . What do you think are the possible causes and help us consult a specialist and also recommend tests before consultation if any.

Hello there Well you could be suffering from symtomatic paedal pitting oedema....from the discription which you gave. Now this pitting oedema is only a symptom and goes of when the cause is treated....however the parameters which you provided are pretty normal.also creatine levels are normal. Unexplained weight gain is most likely to be the cause of the pin and needle sensation due to stress on knees. I hope you have done thyroid tests.
