Hello doctor, 5-6 days ago I felt a mosquito bite, between the place where stool is passed and the place where it goes to the penis, so I scratched a little, now gradually a big swelling has appeared there which is painful, but there is no pain while walking, but there is pain while sitting, what should I do

Looking at your image, there is visible swelling and inflammation in the perineal region. What started as a mosquito bite that you scratched has likely developed into an infected folliculitis or a small abscess — bacteria enter through the scratched skin and cause progressive painful swelling. The pain on sitting is consistent with this location. This area is particularly prone to infection due to moisture and friction, and it needs antibiotic treatment promptly to prevent it from worsening into a deeper abscess.
Next Steps
Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation — I can prescribe the appropriate antibiotic and advise on wound care. If the swelling becomes very large, fluctuant, or you develop fever, see a surgeon in person immediately.

This may be a local skin infection, inflamed hair follicle, or a small abscess rather than a simple mosquito bite, especially if the swelling is increasing and painful.
Next Steps
Feel free to consult for further evaluation and treatment plan.
Health Tips
Keep the area clean and avoid scratching or squeezing it.

Hi, swelling and pain in that area after a bite and scratching is common and often from minor infection or irritation.  Keep it clean and dry, avoid further scratching.  It should ease soon but better to get examined.  Feel free to consult for further guidance.
