Swelling and blistering in the sun

Asked for Female, 18 Years

I’m going on holiday to Tenerife in July. Last year I swelled up and blistered everywhere to a point where I couldn’t move and was in hospital over night. I was using factor 50 suncream because I’m fair skinned anyway. Other than drinking a lot of water what could I do?
