Surgery to fix lax cardia (Lose LES)
I was recently diagnosed with Lax Cardia (incompetent Lower Esophageal Sphincter) via endoscopy. My primary symptoms are constant throat irritation and regurgitation. Despite strictly following medical therapy (PPIs), diet modifications, and lifestyle changes, I have seen no significant improvement. I am now considering surgical or endoscopic interventions. Specifically, I would like to know: Are the LINX Reflux Management System or the Stretta Procedure currently available at any hospitals in Bangalore? What is the approximate cost for these procedures in the city? Based on my symptoms, would you recommend one over the other, or should I consider a traditional Nissen Fundoplication?
