Suicidal ideas..
I was in ICU 5-6 days ago as I had taken Benzodiazepines  overdose . I've taken abt 8-10 clonazapam and 5-6 lorazapam. I was discharged couple of days back, but then I turned covid positive as well. I've been not having peace mentally even now. I've been getting really bad dreams of me getting killed or being hospitalised etc. I've been on meds for depression since last year and half and I almost lose my thinking ability for that particular moment as I feel life's over. I generally make cuts but earlier this week I took these meds. I'm not sure what is happening as well, I'm really unable to control my anger, tears, emotions, and now in quarantine I've been even more bad emotionally physically. I've attached my discharge summary... Please look and suggest something that'd work out for me. !!

Try not to become preoccupied with suicidal thoughts as this can make them even stronger. Don’t think and rethink negative thoughts. Find a distraction. Giving yourself a break from suicidal thoughts can help, even if it’s for a short time. No matter how much you may have problems No matter how much bad things happened to you Never forget that YOUR LIFE IS A GIFT. Someone somewhere else is fighting to survive. Be thankful to life and CHEER UP.

I hear you that what your going through might be really tough but it can be managed and treated and gradually make you feel better by giving you right treatment. Your pre-existing mood fluctuations worsened with the current diagnosis of covid.

Looks like your depression was not completely gone and now the recent stress has added to the problem. You need to take aggressive treatment for depression for which you need to consult a Psychiatrist
