It depends on illness second its a myth that all mental illness treatment to be taken long it depends on condition of the pateint also how his/her life affecting plus there is nothing wrong if one have to take meds for his mental health its just like BP issues(few illness ) ppl can comfortably take meds for thyroid and sugar and blood pressure vut when it comes to ur brain ppl discriminates it dats y its a issue always remember no heath wid out mental health if ur not mentally fit u can't be physically fit also there shoukd be no shame for meds in the last i want to say
