I'm sorry to hear about your ongoing struggles with slip disc and lower back pain. Since you have been diagnosed with a slipped disc, it is important to follow up with a spine specialist or orthopedic surgeon to discuss the best treatment options for you. Depending on the severity of the disc herniation, treatment may involve medications, physical therapy, or in some cases, surgery.
In addition to treatment for your slip disc, it is important to continue taking Vitamin D and Calcium supplements as prescribed by your doctor to help improve bone health. Additionally, you may want to incorporate exercises that focus on strengthening your core muscles, which can help support your lower back and alleviate pain. I recommend discussing appropriate exercises with a physical therapist or qualified trainer.
It is also important to maintain good posture and avoid prolonged sitting or standing in one position. Applying heat or cold to the affected area may also help alleviate pain. I encourage you to continue working with your healthcare provider to find the most effective treatment plan for your individual needs.
