Suffering from cyst on tail bone
I have been having swelling in my tail bone since last one year. There was pus oozing out earlier but it had dried up earlier. Now, since last 2 months it has come back and everyday in the evening the cyst swells up and becomes painful due to sitting in office all day.
I want to know the kind of doctor I will have to consult for above problem. A general surgeon or skin specialist?

Firstly you should meet a skin specialist. depending on the cause is the involvement is deeper then you will be referred to a surgeon if needed. Without examination of the skin condition and knowing the extent of involvement.. along with this more information on ongoing medication or history of previous/current skin/systemic illness it is not possible to comment on the treatment that would suit you best.
