Suffereing from dry eruption itching

Asked for Male, 84 Years

My father age 84 is suffering from dry skin eruption. He has intense itching in both hands, legs and back with red patches its seems like ezcema.Itching gets worsen at night time. Applied mistures but not effective. Have applied Betnovate n Cream also and taken Avil , Capsule Mox but not much effective. Please suggest some medicine , ointment
