Sudden increase in deit.
For the past 3-4 weeks my friend has observed a sudden increase in diet. She is now eating 3 to 4 times of what she used to. Her daily calorie intake is around 5000 compared to earlier 1500ish. She always feels hungry which is out of the ordinary for her. Her weight has no lt increased though. Nor is she facing any physical discomfort. Is it just a normal increase in diet or does it have a medical reason? Are any tests required?

Yes, if weight isn't increasing it can be hyperthyroidism /diabetes and otherwise can be a psychological cause due to a recent event in life. Take care
