Sudden hair thinning noticed in 2 monts
Hi, i am 27 year old female.noticed sudden hair shedding (though not much) but hair thinning a lot from last 2 months. No vitamin ,iron deficiency.normal thyroid levels. What could be sudden cause of such thinning specially over top and sides of scalp? Is there could be some internal medical issue apart from deficiency and thyroid i need to do test for? I have read about female pattern hair loss but that seems to have gradual thinning over years not this sudden. Could someone please advice?

Sudden hair thinning is called telogen hairloss or telogen effluvium and this has many reasons. Needs to be seen and history is required. Please call me or send photos using online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment advice.
