Refrain from giving antibiotics unnecessarily However when u are managing at home you most know some red flags when you should visit the hospital at once : If fever persists beyond 4 days , her oral intake , urine output or activity decrease too much . If she has any abnormal behaviour or breathing difficulty or vomiting take her to the hospital .
