Subject: Post-Surgery Healing Query
I underwent laser surgery for a complex fistula, fissure, and hemorrhoid on 27th October. While there has been significant improvement, I still experience some pain after passing stool. My doctor mentioned that the healing process outside the anal region is complete, and the wound is covered, but it will take 3 to 6 months for complete healing inside the anal region. I would like to understand why internal healing takes this long and what exactly happens during this period. Please take a look in my uploaded attachment.
