Thank you for sharing the photo and describing the symptoms clearly 🙏 From the image **and** your symptoms, this looks like a **classic stye** (called **Anjananamika / Pothaki** in Ayurveda). --- ## What it is (simple explanation) A **stye** is: * A small infected oil gland at the eyelid margin * Causes **pain, heaviness, tenderness** * Often triggered by: * Kajal / eye makeup * Touching eyes with unclean hands * Heat + Pitta aggravation * Low local immunity 👉 The **heaviness and pain on touching** are very typical. The good news: ✔️ **This is NOT dangerous** ✔️ **It usually resolves completely in a few days** if treated properly --- ## ❗ VERY IMPORTANT — what NOT to do Please follow this strictly: ❌ Do NOT squeeze or press it ❌ Do NOT apply kajal or eye makeup ❌ Do NOT apply oil, ghee, or turmeric near the eye ❌ Do NOT use random eye drops --- ## What you should do IMMEDIATELY (most effective) ### 🔥 1️⃣ Warm compress (MOST IMPORTANT) This alone helps many styes resolve. **How:** * Take clean cotton cloth * Dip in **warm (not hot) water** * Wring and place gently over closed eye * **10 minutes** * **3–4 times daily** This helps the blocked gland drain naturally. --- ## 🌿 Safe medicines (choose what’s easily available) ### 🌿 2️⃣ Ayurvedic eye drops (SAFE options) Use **only ONE**, not multiple. * ****Eye Drops** → 2 drops in affected eye **2–3 times daily** OR * *****Netra Drops / Himalaya ****** → Same dose These reduce infection and inflammation. --- ### 🌿 3️⃣ Internal medicine (optional but helpful if pain is more) If available: ******Guggulu** * 1 tablet **twice daily after food** * For 5–7 days Helps faster resolution of boils. --- ## Diet & habits for quick healing * Avoid spicy, fried, very sour food * Drink plenty of water * Wash hands before touching eyes * Sleep well (lack of sleep worsens styes) --- ## When will it improve? * Pain & heaviness reduce in **2–3 days** * Swelling settles in **5–7 days** --- ## 🚨 When to see an eye doctor urgently Please consult immediately if: * Swelling spreads to whole eyelid * Vision becomes blurry * Fever develops * Severe redness of the eye (not just lid) * No improvement after 5–6 days --- ## Final reassurance 🌸 This is a **very common and fully treatable condition**. You caught it early — that’s good. If you want, tell me: * Do you wear contact lenses? * Any recent fever or stress? * Is there discharge or only pain? I’ll guide you further if needed. Advice- self medication is hazardous, always consult ayurvedic doctor before taking ayurvedic medicine. Consult me personally for details

sty (stye) is called Anjananamika in Ayurveda. It usually happens due to Pitta–Kapha imbalance, infection, eye strain, or poor hygiene. 🌿 Ayurvedic Treatment for Sty 1. Triphala (Most Important) Triphala churna: Take ½ tsp at night with warm water (for 5–7 days). Triphala eye wash (very effective): Boil 1 tsp Triphala powder in 1 cup water Cool, strain well Use to gently wash eyes once daily ⚠️ Ensure it is well filtered and sterile 2. Turmeric (Haridra) Take ¼ tsp turmeric powder with warm milk once daily (Reduces infection & inflammation) 3. Aloe Vera Apply fresh aloe vera gel externally on the eyelid (Avoid direct contact with eye) 4. Warm Compress (Ayurveda + Modern) Dip clean cloth in warm water Apply gently on closed eyelid 2–3 times daily Helps pus drainage naturally 5. Honey (Optional) Apply a very small amount of pure honey on eyelid margin at night (Antibacterial). ⚠️ Do not put inside the eye 🚫 Avoid During Sty Spicy, oily, fried food Excess tea/coffee Eye makeup & contact lenses Touching or squeezing the sty. 🧘 Lifestyle Tips Wash hands before touching eyes Proper sleep Reduce screen time Splash eyes with cool water in morning. If you want, I can also suggest classical Ayurvedic medicines (tablet/syrup) suitable for adults or children—just tell me.
