Can Strep Throat infect one side of your throat then move to the other?
I have had strep throat for a 4 days now. Swollen lymph nodes, white spots covering the back of my throat, fever of 103.8 F, couldn't swallow anything on my left side, incontrable shivers and over hearing, ya know, the whole nine. Then I got some antibiotics 3 days ago, and I've been taking them according to the instructions (every either hours) and my fever has gone done a little bit, and the left side doesn't hurt as much; but now the right side of my throat hurts just as much as the left did when I first got strep throat. So does anybody know what's going on? Is this normal for strep, or have I run into some bigger problems??
Thanks.
