From what you have described, the dog bite occurred over your jeans, and although the fabric tore, your skin shows only a small superficial white mark without bleeding, redness, or broken skin. This strongly suggests that the dog’s teeth did not penetrate the skin.
Rabies transmission requires actual skin breach with saliva contact. Since you washed the area thoroughly within 15 minutes and there is no visible wound, RIG (rabies immunoglobulin) is NOT required.
At most, this is considered a Category I or minimal Category II exposure, which does not need RIG if the skin is intact.
If you want to be extra cautious, you may take the rabies vaccine series, but RIG is not indicated in the absence of a bite wound.

There’s no need of rabies immunoglobulin . As per your history it looks like category 2 wound - which means you need to take rabies vaccination ( rig- rabies immunoglobulin is not needed)
