It sounds like you’re experiencing a strong physical and emotional reaction to situations that hurt you deeply. This combination of physical symptoms, such as your body not responding and sweating, along with feeling mentally overwhelmed and unable to speak, could be indicative of a panic attack or an acute stress reaction. Sounds like a strong physical and emotional reaction to the distress or hurtful situations. It's important to recognize that your body and mind are responding to stress in a way that can be overwhelming.
It might be helpful to consider seeking support from a mental health professional, such as a therapist or counselor. They can assist you in exploring the root causes of these intense reactions and provide strategies to cope with and manage your emotions more effectively.
In the meantime, when you find yourself in these situations, focusing on deep breathing exercises can sometimes help regulate your body's stress response. Taking slow, deep breaths and allowing yourself some moments to pause and collect your thoughts can be beneficial.
A mental health professional can work with you to develop coping mechanisms that are tailored to your specific experiences and needs. If you're interested, I can also provide information about Mind Sculpt, a therapy service that you may find useful.
Hi
Thank you for reaching out. What you're mentioning sounds like your body and mind are unable to store anymore stress that you're experiencing. It's taking a big toll on both your mind and the body. Our mind handles the stress but it is stored in our body/muscles etc over time. When it gets too much to be kept within the body, it expresses itself in various forms. What you mention, are some of those signs and symptoms.
We will have to actively work on stress/anxiety management and then consequently address what is bringing that much stress and how to handle it for future references.
Next Steps
I'd strongly encourage you to consult a clinical psychologist and start your journey towards feeling better.
