Stomach problem with black & hard potty
Hi 10 months baby have black and hard potty from last two days. We have stopped iron from last day and stopped cow milk as well. Crying while passing potty. Little bit spiting milk while burp. Any medication we can give When to see doc Baby is playful. Can we give cow milk or toned milk Suggest

You did the right thing by stopping iron. If you have been giving cow’s milk please continue to give. Add fruits and vegetables in his diet.

Black stools while on iron medication is a common name thing. Nothing to worry as long as child is active and playful . Eventually the color of stools will be back to normal after stopping iron medication.

Increase the fibre content of weaning food , include more mashed banana etc
