Stomach issue
Hi Doctor, 1. i daily feels like my stomach is full heavy and tight and at the same time feels heaviness near anal area like if someone pressed my stomach then i will pass stool. 2. Twice or thrice in a year generally when i am outside my home i get frequent hiccups which last for 2-3 days and even not stop after drinking water. It feels like a vaccum is created in stomach which wants so much air to breathe to fill the gap. 3. Whenever i am outside on a trip with my family i get frequent loose motions which happens with so much noise. At that time stomach shrinks after passing gas but after 5-10min coming from bathroom i again feel stomach full and tightness. 4. If i eat ghee also i feel like my stomach is feeling heavy. I tried to summarize whole issue related with my stomach overall. Now main question is what checkup should i go with to confirm and solve this issue? I don't have any past disease record or any ongoing medication. Attaching my cbc report done 2 months ago

Your stomach symptoms sound more like a functional gut issue or gas related problem, proper evaluation should be done . A platelet count of 117,000 is mildly low and can occur temporarily, the rest of the CBC is normal, so please don’t panic Consult with me once I’ll guide you regarding the likely cause, whether further tests are needed and the best next steps for your stomach issues.

Symptoms are suggestive of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) with bloating/gas predominance, possibly triggered by anxiety, outside food, travel, and certain fatty foods like ghee. CBC, HbA1c, ESR, and sugars are largely normal; mild low platelets (117k) should be rechecked but may be incidental if asymptomatic.
Next Steps
-Recommended tests: -LFT, RFT, Thyroid profile -Stool routine/microscopy -USG abdomen -H. pylori testing if persistent acidity/bloating Take -Cap Pantoprazole 40 mg OD before breakfast × 2 weeks -Tab Mebeverine 135 mg TDS before meals × 2 weeks -Syp/Tab Simethicone after food for gas -Probiotic capsule OD × 10 days -Recheck CBC after 3–4 weeks for platelet count.
Health Tips
-Avoid overeating, oily/ghee-rich foods, carbonated drinks -Regular meals, hydration, stress reduction, adequate sleep -Travel-related IBS symptoms are common and anxiety can worsen gut symptoms -Seek GI consultationn if weight loss, blood in stools, persistent vomiting, or severe pain develops -Contact me anytime on Practo for further consultation.

The pattern of your symptoms—heaviness, noisy loose motions, and stomach tightness that fluctuates with your environment (trips/being outside)—is highly suggestive of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or Functional Dyspepsia. The fact that your symptoms worsen during travel or outings points toward a strong Brain-Gut Axis connection, where the nervous system triggers gut motility changes in response to routine shifts or subtle stress. The 'hiccups' and 'vacuum' feeling are likely due to Aerophagia (swallowing excess air) or diaphragmatic irritation caused by significant gas buildup (bloating) in the upper GI tract."
Next Steps
To design a targeted plan for 'Traveler's IBS' and discuss gut-relaxing medications for your trips, please book a full consultation session via my Practo profile."
