Joint stiffness can be associated with some internal inflammation of the joints.. Sometimes it may be just due to over activity.. Do you feel stiffness more in morning on waking up ..
Next Steps
I will suggest you to start with hot fomentation,  take analgesic tablet like paracetamol extended release for a week and see the response.. You may also apply analgesic ointment over fingers for pain relief 3-4 times daily.. If problem persists, plan to get investigations for blood inflammatory markers like ESR, CRP along with CBC, Ra factor, Uric acid levels..
Health Tips
Avoid heavy work with hands. Start active finger movement exercises..
