Steroid abuse ruined skin immunity

Asked for Male, 25 Years

Had fungal skin infection on my face about 8 years ago. A dermatologist suggested I use Momate. And every time the infection re-surfaced after stopping the cream since it contained steroid. Whenever I consulted the doctor, he told me to continue with Momate. Now after years of use and still no benefit, I consulted another doctor and had a change in medication. But my skin's immunity seems to have deteriorated. What can be done to improve the immunity of my skin?
