SSRI dose equivalence
Hello. Could an expert tell me what is the dose equivalence of fluoxetine to escitalopram ? The medical articles say 20 mg fluoxetine is equal to 9 mg escitalopram approximately. Is it confirmed ? I'm shifting from escitalopram to fluoxetine under the guidance of my doctor but I want to be aware of the dose equivalence between these two meds.

You are right in that the dose equivalence of fluoxetine 20 mg equals to 9mg( roughly 10mg because 9mg dose preparation of escitalopram isn't available ).
