Spreading of TB
I was diagnosed with pulmonary TB in October and I have completed my 9 month ATT..I want you ..I was in close contact with wife .. could I have spread it to my wife before or during treatment. What are the chances? - sputum test was not performed as I don't had any coughing problem..no other symptoms Mantox test was positive Ct scan- multiple lumps where found. EBUS TBNA was performed. I have attached the report Currently my wife has no symptoms

Ppl do not worry.As you have suffered from Extra pulmonary Tb, there is no likely hood of spread to your wife.pl observe, any symptoms in your wife and act accordingly. Pl consult pulmonologist for further evaluation and treatment.

For ur wife - if she gets any symptoms- cough, fever, wt loss, loss of appetite, chest pain , dyspnea others review in opd If no symptoms get chest X-ray every 6 months for 24 months Repeat X-ray is subjected to prior report
