Spotting while on depo shot

Asked for Female, 19 Years

I’ve been spotting while on the depo shot for nine months straight. Is this normal? My doctor gave me Premarin to take for 14 days and it eventually stopped for a week or two, but the spotting starts again, then it’ll stop for a few days again, and I start to spot once again. I got my injections four times already and the spotting just won’t stop. Is something wrong with me? I’ve been told that everybody’s body is different, but still.
