Spotting before periods

Asked for Female, 20 Years

Me and my girlfriend had sex on her most fertile days. She took a birth control pill and it turned out a few days after we had sex she experience spotting(blood was brown it seems) she has her next period date on 5th of September. We are little tensed regarding she getting pregnant and all, help us in this matter .
