Spotting and bleeding during first trime

Asked for Female, 31 Years

Hi doc I am 7 weeks 4 days pregnant through ivf had 1st scan and found I conceived twin with heartbeat for both but I have been spotting on and off and yesterday saw little blood as well with slight cramps on and off I had a word with my gynae she told to continue with medicine and injections so can you tell me is it normal or something is wrong

spotting in pregnancy is not normal that's why they have given you medicines and injection to support the pregnancy in spite of which you have spotting or bleeding or and junk passage then you have to do a scan again
