My mother is suffering from a problem named "jhaayiyan" in hindi and probably its called pigmentation (which i'm not sure of). actually she has got some dark spots on her face and consulted doctors but no treatment worked.

This is called melasma. It is slightly difficult to treat. You have to keep it under check. Sunlight protection is must. Please use sunscreen at all times during day. Creams and chemical peels can be used to reduce the pigmentation but you always have to monitor for recurrence. Please send photos in private chat if you want prescription.
