Dear doctor My surgery has been done of abscess pus from right lower back, it shows tb ..what precautions should I take..my doctor has given medication and told to take for 6 months .is it contagious? And please confirm which medicines are to be taken

You have extrapulmonary TB.This type of TB is usually not contagious, because it is not in the lungs and does not spread through coughing.Your family members are generally safe.
